on to study kung fu with a Shaolin monk and translated those movements into stuntwork. After bashing her head open during a live performance on tour with

Geo: What drew you into your career?
Vera: I got into acting because everyone loves kung fu fighting! I started out as a stunt gal doing fights but after some time, you realize that your body can only take so much pain and I started studying acting. I love the process of movie making so I got into production and writing, not because I like to write, but because nobody was writing what I wanted to see.
Geo: Is there anything you’d liked to have done different?
Vera: I really wish I started acting right after high school and didn’t waste my time with stuff like college and grad school.
Geo: What do you love best about what you do?
Vera: I love seeing the reactions of people when they see my stuff. I do mainly comedy so when I can get someone to laugh out loud, then I know I did a good job. Geo: Greatest achievement?
Vera: I’m hoping my greatest achievement is soon to come but filming a feature film I co-wrote this year in two days “Safe House’ www.safehousemovie.us was the pinnacle of what one can do if they attempt to kill themselves in a weekend.
Geo: Greatest moment at a Con?
Vera: Seth Green asked for my picture with him.
Geo: What are your future goals/ambitions?
Vera: I want to bring my films to Sundance and turn my web series into television shows.
Geo: What would you tell anyone who would like to get into a career like yours?
Vera: DON’T DO IT! It’s too crazy, unstable and painful. Unless, of course, you are 15 and skinny and blonde and gorgeous. Then please by all means come to Hollywood, there is definitely work here for you. 
Geo: Whose your favorite horror character? I
Vera: Mike Myers, I can’t help it. I’m in love with William Shatner.
