January-Brenna Rhea

Well Kiddies, here we are for a new full year of the new era of Geo’s Geek Goddesses to enjoy and get to know!!! Well sorta new, cause in this case , we are revisiting one of our lovely vixens who has not only inspired new art, but has come a long way in a short amount of time!! So who better to kick off  Geo’s Geek Goddesses than this rising star Miss Brenna Rhea… An actress, director, model, and now a recording star with her first music single and video coming out soon. That’s right kiddies, Brenna can do it all, and that’s why I thought it important to catch up with this lovely artist of stage, screen and now music. But let’s hear more from this beauty in her own words.

Q&A

Geo:

What drew you into your career?

Brenna:

I’d be lying if I said I always wanted to, so I’ll go ahead and stick to the truth. I started acting when I was six years old because I was board one summer in the state of Utah. My mom offered me different ideas of things I could go and do and out of all the options I decided acting classes would be fun. So, I got signed up at the University of Utah for their summer acting program. The first play I ever did I got cast as a ‘Guy Who Chokes On A Chicken Bone’. The whole entire play was based around me dying and getting dragged around the stage and propped up in different fashions to make me look alive. The audience absolutely adored it and I fell in love with theater. After that for six whole years [A long time right?] I didn’t stop acting, I never stopped training. And by the age of 12 I had completed over 110 plays. I moved out to California to continue my acting dream/career and ended up transferring over to movies, television, commercials, music videos, and such. And I absolutely love it!

Geo:

Is there anything you’d liked to have done different?

Brenna:

I get asked this question a lot, but my answer never changes. If I was to have done anything different, I wouldn’t have been where I am today. All the choices I made, good or bad, became and shaped a part of me and my career. I appreciate all the opportunities I had and took, I’d admired those I didn’t. I made a lot of choices at a young age to start this career and each choice has had its effect on me. So I guess in short, my answer would be no.

Geo:

What do you love best about what you do?

Brenna:

My favorite part about acting is the fact that I get to delve into a myriad of insanely odd quirky characters and create their story and life through words on a page. I get to be someone else for extended periods of time and get paid for it! I enjoy being able to have people watch me live and hear the immediate satisfaction of a job well done through laughter or tears. But I also enjoy being able to work on a character in great detail for the screen and watch as people are taken out of their current lives and situations and engulfed in the story they are watching. In truth, actors are the best escape artists of our time. Always on the hunt for a new challenging character to take on and crawl into. I guess you could say, I enjoy being someone else.

Geo:

Greatest achievement?

Brenna:

The words ‘greatest’ and ‘achievement’ will mean so many different things to so many different people just as much as the word ‘success’ varies from person to person. But in my opinion, one of my greatest achievements in life was/is being able to follow my dream and see where the paved road of Hollywood takes me. At the end of each day I am lucky enough to be able to say, well at least I tried. I have been given many chances and I’ve worked hard to get where I am today. So for me, my greatest achievement isn’t even finished yet, its a work in progress.

Geo:

Greatest moment at a Con?

Brenna:

Greatest moment at a con… that’s a great question. I’ve gotten the privilege to work with Geo,

[the amazing creator of this site] on a variety of cons and I can’t say that any of them fell short of being amazing. Getting the chance to walk around as his creation, Cherry Bomb, is always an awesome and amazing experience. But I think one of my greatest moments was when I got the chance to sit next to Geo at our first con and help sell his books dressed up like Cherry Bomb. It was fun to have people come up and admire my best friends work then realize I was his creation in the flesh. It was fun, and I continually enjoy working with Geo.

Geo (blushing):

What are your future goals/ambitions?

Brenna:

My future and goals and ambitions, eh? I want to act. Pure and simple. On a large scale I would love to the opportunity to work with the creative mind of Tim burton, act against johnny depp, and maybe do voice over work with Sponge bob. But on the simple true honest scale. I just want to act. Either in a small or large setting, acting is where you will find me. Geo: What would you tell anyone who would like to get into a career like yours? Brenna: My best advice I would give anyone coming into this same career path would be: Never take any ones advice. ~ In this town you got to be true to yourself and know who you are. So take everything that everyone says with a grain of salt and take time to understand where they are coming from so you know where you stand. Its a hard business, but if you love what you do and you are passionate for what you love, its well worth the ride no matter what anybody says.

Geo:

Whose your favorite horror character?

Brenna:

My fav. horror character of all time would be, “Jack The Ripper”.

Kiddies, I can honestly  say working with someone as amazing as Brenna Rhea is a real joy for Yours Truly, she’s always there  to make the magic flow as only she can!!! She plays Cherry Bomb’s killer attitude to a “T” and does a great job of letting the fans know that not only can Cherry Bomb drive the boys crazy, but also never get too close, this lil vamp WILL bite!!! But lets see that a lil’ more carefully, shall we?
